Dr. Harish Patidar obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from MIT Ujjain in 2005 in Computer Science and Engineering discipline, Master of Engineering degree from SVITS Indore in 2013 and PhD from SPSU Udaipur in Oct. 2017. He has more than 13 year of teaching experience. He has published more than 30 research paper in renowned international journals including Springer, Thomson Reuters and Scopes index journals. He has also published a patent during his PhD work.

Although he has taught various subject of engineering during his teaching career, but his field of expertise in Graph Colouring Problem, Data Structure, Computer Programming, Algorithm Development and Web Development. Apart from the academic activity he is also taking care of college other activities like Technical events, Research work. He is also working as editor of department newsletter, FB page.

The department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology has been established in the year 2004 with an initial intake of 60 students in CSE. The intake has been increased to 120 seats in 2006 in CSE and 60 seats in IT. In addition to this, M.Tech. with a specialization in "Computer Science and Engineering" have been started in 2009 with an intake of 18 seats which increased to 24 seats in 2012.

The teaching-learning process comprises digital class-room teaching, along with tutorials, practical’s, seminars, viva-voce, projects and also series of audio visual CD are available for various subjects delivered by IIT professors. The main goal is to get direct help and support regarding the academics, projects and thesis work.

The department of CSE follows the curriculum of the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and also covers the portions that are beyond the syllabus. The curriculum covers all the software and related hardware part of computer mainly, Data Structure and Analysis, OOPs Methodology, Operating System, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics and Multimedia, Principle of Programming Language and Soft-Computing. The department also has an Internet facility of 8MBPS for the faculty and student. Campus is Wi-Fi enabled, providing high speed 24x7 Internet access.

The department at present has 10 computer labs, more than 300 computers with Window2000, UNIX, LINUX and Novell Netware based LAN equipped with High end Servers, Routers, Switches with Dual Core computers, multimedia projectors, and other accessories. The department offers guidance to the students in the latest softwares like J2EE, CCNA, MTS,.NET and LINUX Kernel programming. We are also having faculties from the industrial background. They provide students with the latest technical knowledge and practical exposure so that they can make their presence felt in the latest technical revolution.

The Landmark achieved by the department of CSE, since last decade are: Started M.Tech courses, Highly qualified and experienced faculty, Adopting Industry based projects and Quality Certified by ISO 9001 : 2008.
